Islamabad, Sep 9: Thousands of people took to the roads in this south Kashmir township, Monday night after former government gunmen barged into a house of a youth who had participated in recently held pro-freedom rallies.
Residents of Lazibal Islamabad told Greater Kashmir, “A group of former government gunmen barged into the house of Sajad Ahmed son of Mushtaq Ahmed and after dragging him out took him along.”
Locals said that former government gunmen have been barging into the houses during nights and taking away youth for past few days.
After Sajad was taken by the them, his family members raised an alarm and announcement was made in a local Masjid.
Within no time announcements were made in other Masjids and people raising pro-freedom slogans came out on the roads.
Thousands of people had assembled in Islamabad town and were staging massive pro-freedom demos when this report was filed.
